Leads & sales
Pipeline stages, lead sources, lost reasons and business types
Set up the stages your deals move through, where leads come from, why deals are lost and the kinds of customer you deal with.
The pipeline board
The Pipeline page shows your leads as cards in columns, one column per stage. Drag a card to another column to move the lead to that stage.
Pipeline stages
Admins manage stages in Settings → Pipeline stages: add and edit them, and set their order, which decides where each column sits on the pipeline board. Keep exactly one active won stage and one active lost stage, so wins and losses are reported consistently.
Lead sources
Settings → Lead sources lists where your leads come from, such as your website, referrals or ads. Sources power the source reports and, with ad spend entered in Settings → Ad spends, your cost per lead.
Lost reasons
Settings → Lost reasons holds the list your team picks from when marking a lead as lost. Keeping the list short and clear makes the lost-deal reports more useful.
Business types
Settings → Business types is the list of the kinds of customer you deal with, offered on every lead form and as a filter on the Leads page. New companies start with a general list (individual, small business, healthcare, education, retail and so on). Rename, add or switch off types to fit your industry: a clinic might use "Self-paying patient", "Insured patient" and "Corporate", a school "Day scholar" and "Boarder". Renaming a type renames it on your leads too; switching one off hides it from new leads but keeps it on existing ones.
