WhatsApp templates and bulk campaigns
Import approved templates, send them to many leads at once and track campaign progress.
Templates
Messages that start a conversation must use a template that Meta has approved. Create and submit templates in your Meta WhatsApp Manager, then open the WhatsApp page here: it lists the approved templates on your account, and Create imports one so it is available when sending.
Use the refresh action to re-read a template's body, language and approval status from Meta after you change it there.
Send a bulk campaign
- On the Leads page, select the leads you want to message.
- Choose the WhatsApp action in the bulk action bar and pick a template.
- Send. The campaign is queued and runs in the background, so you can keep working.
Progress and results for each campaign appear in the send history (Reports → WhatsApp campaigns). Failed sends are not retried automatically, so nobody is messaged twice.
Your monthly message allowance
Your plan includes a number of WhatsApp messages a month, shown in Settings → Billing. Campaign messages and replies from the WhatsApp inbox count towards it. A campaign must fit within what is left for the month before it starts.
Meta may charge separately for WhatsApp conversations under its own pricing.
